Styling: Acid Yellow

Testing the waters with a colour that has been calling out to me for a little while now; Acid yellow. You may have seen that I have injected a few accents of this colour into my site and now - my wardrobe too. I’m starting with this vintage silk shirt where the snake print breaks and softens the colour to make it more palatable (for someone like me who’s wardrobe is a spectrum of neutral hues). I have also just bought some trainers from Depop - the Adidas Originals FYW S-97 Hi-res yellow to be exact - which are winging their way to me via Hermes and I will of course keep you informed on how I style those too. My thinking is that if I’m into the colour but not 100% certain that it sits right against my face then having it on my feet is the next best way to work it into my wardrobe.. Bring on a summer of colourful shoes!
