Holiday fits on film

Each year, during the summer months I find myself investing more and more in sporty separates. If it comes in a technical fabric, doesn’t shout the brand from the rooftops & has a ‘twist’ like an asymmetric neckline, adjustable toggles or a super cropped hem then it works its way into my wardrobe just fine.

When I packed for our week of hiking in Riva del garda my thinking was the same. Something I can comfortably wear hiking in the morning but feel good in later sat for lunch with a limoncello spritz. I often trawl Vinted for second-hand Arket pieces (their outdoor clothing is second to none in terms of both funciton and style) or stock up on sleek, seamless bodysuits from Parade - my new favourite brand discovery of 2022 who donate 1% of each purchase to non profit organisations working for reproductive rights, racial equity, LGBTQ+ communities and climate resilience.
